The popular female rapper Cardi B during her performance in Tennessee addressed the fact that she carried out liposuction two weeks back and she is reportedly taking time off musical concerts and performance due to complications from the surgery.
It was being reported by TMZ reports that she withdrew from a performance (Memorial Day performance) that is scheduled to hold in Maryland due to fall out from the surgeries. Her doctor also reportedly advised her to take a break from work so the swelling can go down.
We decided to take our time to check how long her recovery can take and we realized that the full recovery for her breast augmentation will average six weeks and for liposuction will take several months (According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons)
Earlier this month, she told the crowd at the Beale street music festival that she ought to have canceled her performance that day because she has been finding it difficult to move as a result of her lipo. She ended by saying she is more concerned about getting the money bag.
In an interview with ET a day before, she revealed that she just got her boobs done and it has been balancing recovery and work. On her Instagram live video the same day, she said from her bed that she feels pain in her body.
Her publicist also dropped a comment that she is overzealous to start work soon but she didn’t take the time needed for a full recovery and the busy schedule is affecting her. This is why her doctor has gove her strict restrictions to rest and stop performances until the end of May.
However, it is important to add that this is not the first time Cardi will be canceling a performance because of her health issues. She made mention of some of them while she was addressing the crowd at Beale street musical festival in Memphis.
After she welcomed her daughter last July 2018, she has stated her decisions to go under the knife for liposuction and breast augmentation (she had one breast augmentation prior to giving birth to her daughter Kulture).
Reports from 92Q have stated that the Spring Bling festival has been postponed Until September 8 with the hope that she will have recovered fully by then.
